I enrolled my daughter at Best Friends when she was 3 months old. I searched in Somerville, where we live, and Chelsea in order to find a daycare that would meet my family’s needs. As a speech-language pathologist in the Chelsea Public Schools, I trust in the community of Chelsea and the teachers that love and take care of my daughter every day. My daughter’s experience in the infant room was amazing. She was loved like a daughter by her teachers and I felt so comforted knowing that she was so well taken care of while I was working. She always arrived happy to see her teachers and spend time with her friends in her class. As she has transitioned to the toddler room, her teachers have helped her gain the independence and skills to thrive in her new environment. The owner and director are both very communicative, respectful, and receptive to feedback. With the evolving situation with the global pandemic, they have both been transparent and honest about how they are making sure all kids are safe, engaged, and loved at the Center. The Brightwheel app allows me to see what my daughter is doing each day and teachers respond quickly to any questions that I have. I would highly recommend Best Friend’s to anyone who is looking for a loving environment for their child.
