Ellen Gomes

Senior Manager

Ellen Gomes

Ellen Gomes holds a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Pedagogy from Brazil, where she began her career teaching in early childhood centers before moving to the United States. Her teaching style is warm and joyful, with play-based approach to early learning. She believes children learn best when they are curious, engaged, and having fun.

While she has experience teaching infants through Pre-K, her current focus is on Pre-K education, where she takes great pride in preparing children to be confident, curious, and ready for kindergarten. She fully embraces Paul Freire's philosophy that children are co-creators in the classroom, and her work embodies our spirit of inclusion and empowerment.

Bi-lingual in English and Brazilian Portuguese, conversationally fluent in Spanish, and currently learning Haitian Creole, Ellen values language as a bridge for connection and inclusion. Her warmth, dedication, and hands-on leadership inspire both her students and her teaching team to create classrooms full of discovery, creativity, and joy.
