Vanessa Mejia

With over 16 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, I am a dedicated and nurturing bilingual (English/Spanish) childcare professional, skilled in fostering positive, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environments for children of all ages. I am passionate about supporting children’s growth, language development, and social-emotional skills through engaging, play-based learning.

I have been a teacher at Best Friend's Early Learning Center since 2013. I now oversee classroom activities and daily routines for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Creating a warm, inclusive, and plurilingual learning environment that supports children's social and emotional development is top priority for me. I enjoy collaborating with families and staff to ensure that we are implementing responsive curriculum that respects the cultural diversity in our Best Friend's community.

I have three children of my own, ages 13, 7 and 9 months old. They are my pride and joy. I have been a resident of Chelsea for over 20 years. I love the diversity in my community and am deeply committed to seeing us grow and flourish, one child at a time.
